The Wilson Ultra UL GRUUV Paddle for 2021 is geared toward players seeking the lightest weight in an oversize head for an easy to find sweet spot in a soft, comfortable paddle. The low density foam core aids in ball control for shot-making accuracy. This paddle is showcasing GRUUV technology for maximized ball spin and improved feel.  Wilson also reduced the grip size on this model to a four inch circumference (instead of the standard 4-1/4″) which makes it suitable for players with a smaller hand.  While the name seems redundant, being the Ultra Ultra Light, it gets the point across that this is ultra soft and ultra light!

The tech behind Wilson GRUUV in the Ultra UL GRUUV 2021:

Spin – angled holes allow the edges to better grab the ball as it leaves the paddle surface, resulting in maximized spin
Feel – angles holes allow the ball to contact more of the paddle surface giving the player added feel and ball control
